Planned Giving Opportunities
Interfaith Senior Programs welcomes gifts in many forms, including cash, checks, securities, and bequests. Remembering Interfaith in your planned giving is a practical way of ensuring that Interfaith is here to respond to community needs now and in the future.
Interfaith Senior Programs directs all memorial gifts and bequests to our two small but growing endowment funds at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and the Waukesha County Community Foundation. A bequest can be a gift of cash, shares, or other investments. It can be a nominated amount, a percentage of your property, or the residue after all your other gifts, taxes and debts have been fulfilled. Interfaith Senior Programs can provide sample language and resources to assist you should you choose to include our organization in your planned giving.
Securities gifted to Interfaith Senior Programs are received into the investment account maintained at Signator Investors, Inc., which is located at the John Hancock Financial Network. Gifts of securities will be acknowledged to the donor at the value received into the account, as of the day received. Our gift policies state that all securities will be sold immediately upon receipt into the account. The funds available after the sale will be invested only in interest-bearing accounts of low risk, such as money market accounts, treasury notes or bills, or certificates of deposit.
Please contact Rebbecca Jordan at (262) 549-3348 Ext. 230 if you would like additional information on making a planned gift to Interfaith Senior Programs.
