Interfaith Senior Programs welcomes gifts in many forms, including cash, checks, securities, and bequests. Remembering Interfaith Senior Programs in your planned giving is a practical way of ensuring that Interfaith is here to respond to community needs through volunteerism now and in the future.
Interfaith Senior Programs directs all bequests and memorials to our two growing funds at the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and the Waukesha County Community Foundation. A bequest can be a gift of cash, shares, or other investments. It can be a determined amount, percentage of your property, or the residue after all your other gifts, taxes and debts have been fulfilled.
For your information, Interfaith’s tax identification number is: 39-1393171.
You may wish to use the following language in designating Interfaith:
“I leave (____% of my estate) or $______ to Interfaith Senior Programs, Inc.,
a non-profit organization located at 210 NW Barstow Street, Suite 101, Waukesha, Wisconsin 53188.”
Securities gifted to Interfaith Senior Programs are received into the investment account maintained at Edward Jones-Waukesha Office (262-524-9191). Gifts of securities will be acknowledged to the donor at the value received into the account, as of the day received. Our gift policy states that all securities will be sold immediately upon receipt into the account. The funds available after the sale will be invested only in interest-bearing accounts of low risk, such as money market accounts, treasury notes or bills, or certificates of deposits.
Please contact Barb Butler at 262-522-2402 if you would like more information or are interestd in leaving a planned gift to Interfaith Senior Programs.
