An 86-year old senior appreciates his volunteer driver, who has been driving him to chemotherapy appointments for over a year. The two have become friends. Rides to healthcare appointments are our number one request. More than 4,000 rides were provided by volunteer drivers in 2010 to healthcare appointments.

An RSVP tutor helps a student with reading at Hawthorne Elementary School in Waukesha. In 2010, 147 RSVP tutors in the Waukesha, Hamilton and Menomonee Falls School Districts tutored children at their schools, helping them reach their academic potential.
Volunteer drivers ensure seniors and adults with disabilities get their groceries and prescriptions. In 2010, volunteer drivers provided 4,030 rides to healthcare appointments.
An RSVP pen pal volunteer shares letters with her third grade pen pal at Lannon Elementary School in Sussex. In 2010, 327 RSVP pen pal volunteers wrote to 367 students in the Waukesha and Hamilton School Districts. Students were connected to a caring adult, and practiced their writing skills. Pen pals write to each other during the school year, and meet at an end of year party at the school.
